Projuvine (pro-ju-ven-a') is
a replenishing/regenerating skin cream, which contains natural
pharmaceutical grade (USP) progesterone and liposomal antioxidants in a
patented surfactant free European emulsion system. Estrogen and
progesterone, when combined in proper proportions are the dominant
female hormones needed throughout the reproductive years for women to
maintain optimal health. Estrogen levels begin to decrease several years
prior to menopause (perimenopause) and usually drop significantly when
menopause actually occurs. Until recently, clinicians and researchers
alike have overlooked the accompanying decline in progesterone during
these cycles. According to research, natural progesterone may support
the production of osteoblasts (bone building cells) which helps reduce
the risk factors associated with reduced bone health*. Natural
progesterone is a plant form of progesterone that is identical to that
which the body produces. As a cream, the transdermal method of
absorption is acknowledged to be most effective according to several
leading clinicians such as Dr. John Lee. Healthy levels of
progesterone have also been shown to promote better sleep.
